He's totally abandoned us for this new treasure. (Except when we walk into the kitchen!) I mean, he's completely absorbed by it, mesmerized, and revels in it's "aura."

Even the cat doesn't distract him from his worship... LOL!
Smart boy Me thinks he needs a nice cushy dog bed where that area rug is. If it's the kind of stove that gets hot to the touch you might want to put a pot of water on it to add some of the moisture back into the air that it sucks out.
Wow, now that is REALLY cool! I am a huge fan of fireplaces. I LOVE them. But I love that wood burning stove. That is really neat, and I second the idea about a big cushy dog bed
thats funny cause leroy does the same thing!! We have a fireplace in the bedroom and when we have it going he is laying on the floor right in front of it, sometimes just starring at it. he likes it more then we do!
