| Yes, Fiddler does that all the time! He brings the bone and holds it on my thigh until I grab it. If I drop it and let go, he keeps putting it back on my lap. If I hold it, he'll just chew and chew and chew! |

| My male likes to prop his toy up against something when he chews it, whether it be us, a chair, etc... |

Other times they just want me to keep it "safe" for them while they do something else, so one of the other dogs doesn't get it.

| Yes, my last two boys especially. Both just had to make me part of the action, like I'd feel bad if not included! |

| | Big Dog | Phoebe does it, mainly with my husband. He complains and laughs frequently when she puts a gnaw bone in his lap to chew and says she slimes him with the chew thing and her slobber. Kinda gross if you ask me! I half think that that she expect him to get down and chew the other side of whatever she is chewing. |

| | True to You | Asher brings me a bone to hold while he chews at times. If I am in the mood I might oblige him and hold it. The only time he brings me a toy is to tell me it is time for bed. He stands there with a stuffie dangling out of his mouth and wide eyes waiting in the doorway until I get the message that he is ready and he wants me to retire with him.
