| | Alpha | LOL Socks and shoes..What is it about them?
I have bought Bo every toy he has shown interest in whenever we go to the pet store....
But of course when it comes right down to it... he would rather play with an old sock or a shoe above everthing else in the house....
Even though he does LOVE the big old soup bone I brought home yesterday for him....
And wait... his absolute favorite toy? After all the money I've spent... is an old gatorade bottle he rolls across the kitchen floor barking at it all the way....

| Maybe its because socks and shoes have the owners scent? Dog's might find them comforting.

| LOL! Don't you just love that? Elli loves an empty water bottle - she loves the sounds it makes when when chews on it and throws it around. She also likes to remove the label off the bottle - she won't eat it, she'll just remove it and leave a mess. Then, when the label is off, she's done with the bottle. :P | |

 | I'm always nagging Donnie to pick up his socks. Cher is still a total sock fiend. Right now her favorite is those nylabones with the solid rubber middle section. But only because I've been very diligent on sock patrol.

I have heard that an animal can get pieces of shoes and sox caught in their throats, but I guess that goes for almost anything. Since my two new pups moved in, I think that all my shoes have these little tiny holes in them from teeth! What is it with dobies and shoes, sox and rain???????? My female loves an empty water bottle also!

| Worse yet, eaten socks can wreak havoc on an intestinal tract. Hence my eagle eye and Donnie-nagging.

| Petey's favorite game to date.....he grabs someones shoe....and parades it past that person in order to get them up and chasing him! He never tires of it, and my sons/hubby never learn not to leave their shoes around! He rarely actually chews on the shoe.
