Think they are finally becoming pals!

When we got Barkely a couple of weeks ago we thought our 3yr old would looove him...actually it was complete opposite..she was scared of him. Poor Barkley only wanted to play and would chase after her which in turn, made Libby shriek in terror and run!!

But after alot of time and persuasion on our part I think we have cracked it and she isnt as wary of him as she was...here are some piccies to prove it!!

They are awesome sweet shots of your daughter (what a cutie) and the pup. Good she isn't so scared of him now, certainly understandable dobie pups are fast and busy. I am sure though she will not be pleased if he chews her favorite blankey or stuffy, no matter how much she likes him

My daughter was crying and no hugs could get her to stop when she was around your daughters age and our male at the time decided her favorite stuffed monkey was his. I felt for her but had to turn my head so she wouldn't see me smiling because he had monkey stuffing and the long tail hanging out of his mouth.

Awwww.... how absolutely adorable! You know he's going to be her most faithful friend and protector. You can just see it on his pretty face! So glad they are learning to co-exist peacefully. It was just a matter of time, lol.

I couldn't help but laugh at your monkey story waiting...i have the mental image if a sweet puppy with the monkey tail in it's mouth!!

I hope that she and Barkely will be best of friends soon, i'm sure it will not be too long! Think it will be better when heis out of the 'bite anything that moves quickly' mode lol

This is a piccie of my daughter awake lol, and was a flower girl at her aunt's wedding on 1st Sept. 2007
