| new luna pics i've been meaning to post these photos here. she's almost 11 months old and coming out of her first heat. we survived it without any love sick males (thankfully, i think, to the chlorophyll capsules)! and yes, we're still working on those floppy ear tips. enjoy her pics!

| Can I come and steal her! She just blows me away with her beauty. Her and Petey have sure grown up, went far too quickly.
Her coat is just awesome, must be that RAW!

| | Alpha | I love the pics - she has a really beautiful coat! She looks very strong - how big is she?
This is the first time we've owned a female dog, so I have a question - what are the chlorophyll capsules for and do you just give her them on a daily basis once her heat starts? We are going to spay Elli, but based on the advice I've seen on this forum, we're going to wait until 2 or 3 months after her first heat, so thought I'd ask now so I'll be prepared. |

| Thanks everyone. She really has grown up! The RAW diet did wonders on her coat. She stands at about 25" tall and weighs 61 lbs. Quote:

I started giving them to her as soon as I noticed her vulva swelling (which was about 1.5 - 2 wks before she started bleeding). I only gave one 100mg capsule with her food (she eats anything in her bowl). I know some people give two, but I don't know what dosage. We still watched her like a hawk, though. She was never out of our sight and was on a leash anytime we were outside. |
