| Ear Posting Video... I thought this would be helpful for the folks with ear posting questions. I took this back a few months ago when I picked up my "Big Weed". John & Shirley Eck of Triadel, graciously, let me video tape the way they post their puppies. They share their method, their philosophy, and some great little tips to avoid potential problems. The video is almost 20 minutes long, broken into two parts. It contains the process of taking down the posts to putting them back up. Its a very generalized conversations taking place during this. I hope someone might find this useful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83Bo69cYasI Posting Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDMgGLhD7xU Posting Part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKlLLAaB8xQ Making Posts Posting Videos on my site

| Is that your itty bitty weed they are working on??? What a priceless momento for the owner! I wish that we had taken videos of Petey as a puppy, the only one I have is him meeting our Pot Bellied Pig for the first time.
This should really help those that are still posing...maybe turn it into a sticky.

| Ok, I didn't have time to watch it, but I think it is a GREAT idea to SEE someone experienced posting...........I would imagine that the Ecks have posted a ton of puppies in their many years in the breed!!
I think it should be a sticky also!!

| | Lil Pup | Posts What kind of posts was he using? Could you add the list of items that he used to tape the ears? It sounded like some general but specific items. That would be very helpful to me! |

| Very helpfull to those people who still have cropped eared puppy's.
When I bought my 2 French dog's they had been cropped we used a very thin water pipe insulation tubbing it's made of a polystyrene type material very simular process to the video, we used ether to take old plaster off though as you can / could buy it in the pharmacy out here if you had paper work from the breeder to say you had ear's to do it also numb's the ears on the sore bit's.
