If the posts stay seated correctly, I change the posts every 4-5 days. If the post pops out of the ear, I take them down immediately and re-post.

Beanie will become famous soon enough
Thank you for the video it has helped very much but I have a question.

Her right ear I can do great and it has no problems. Her left ear pops out all the time and I can't seem to get the post to stay in. I redid them three times last night. The final time I thought I got it and she went to sleep. She shook her head three times this morning and there it went.

I'm just worried that they are not going to stand and I don't want to hurt her.

Any suggestions?

If you are doing it the same way, like in the post making video, then it rules out the tape on the post sliding down. Thats why you should put a piece of tape across the top of the post. Most case, it can be cause by flowering out the cotton ball on the bottom too much. You want it just big enough to provide some cushion, but not too big to not sit properly in the ear.

Also, make sure you are pulling the tip of the ear up on the post before taping the ear. This will provide some tension to keep the post seated in the ear. Make sure the tip doesn't slip down, as this will make it easier for the post to fall out.

Is does take some time to get familiar with posting technique with some trial and error involved.

Zonas tape is used for reverse taping on the posts and Curasilk tape is used to wrap the ear around the post. Zonas tape can be used for both though.

Thank you very much Kratty. It seems that I was indeed flowering the cotton ball to much. I took away about half of what I had and it's been in her ears all day without a problem.
