| Call the camera repairman and tell him it's an emergency.
Tell him there are people with torches marching upon your door...

| They're adorable!! You must have your hands full with the two of them. Ripley's pretty easy as far as doberman pups go so far, but I still couldn't imagine two of them, LOL. You're definitely the right person to raise two though -- even if I do think you're crazy! Very pretty girls.

| lol, okay a rundown... here we go... no joke, no exagerations...
Tuesday-Saturday (My work days)
6 AM- MAYBE 6:30 if I'm lucky, Gina--"MOM I NEED TO PEE!" Which wakes Ramsey up.... "MOM... I think I want to pee too... I just won't be as loud about it..."
6AM - 7AM- Pee. Play outside. Play with ball. Chase bugs. Come inside for breakfast in their kennels.
7AM-8AM Nap
8:30 AM Pee before Mom leaves for work. Back to crate for a not needed nap. But they are very good about being quite for an hour or two while hubby sleeps in.
Off and on until Noon- Playing with hubby and other dogs. Usually Ramsey in outside kennel with Harley and Gina on big back porch with Scrappy. (AKA- chew toys). Hubby takes turns playing with them in the yard. He doesn't usually take both of them out b/c they don't really listen to him and they get wrestling, and I worry about the ears.
Noon - 3PM nap in crate. Usually my stepson is home and they get out to potty three times or so in that time.
I'm home at 3:30 and the fun begins.
Lots of one on one. It's not easy raising two, and not recommended. There's no argument on my part "why not". These guys need one on one to develop correctly mentally and to bond to ME and not just chase each other around all the time.
Right now, we are taking it easy on the OB, just b/c we are working on stacking. Lots of reward based fun. Rag work makes Gina turn inside out with glee!
Around 6 they settle down for a bit, sometimes in the house, sometimes outside with the other two and eat dinner.
Another long play/work bonding session. A bit with the two of them together, just so they will respond to me when they are together. Lots of attention getting/keeping reward based work.
Usually about 9 pm by now Laundry. Vacuum. Pass out. Get up at midnight to pee the pooches one more time.
They are very good about holding it, and I may sound like I'm picking on them for waking me up at 6 AM, but in all actuality, I'm up quite early anyway, and I'd rather they cry when they are ready to pee, then pee in their crates then cry.
Off work Sunday/Monday and we just extend several bonding sessions throughout the day.
I work at a horse barn Saturday/Monday morning and the girls take turns coming with me. (only one at a time, they get too preoccupied with each other to take two) They LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Did I mention they love it? Well, they do. :-) Horse cookies galore... Gina loves playing in the indoor arena, I think she likes the sound her feet make as she runs!
Some days, usually at least once a week, to break up their week, they go to my Dad's for doggy day care. It's all play. They play with their "Uncle" Gunny and just come back pooped, I love it!
Phew... okay. A rundown of my week! Did anyone actually get through that whole novel? |

| Okay....I'm not on DT for a few weeks and I come back and find you have TWO puppies! Littermates to boot!!! That will teach me not to neglect DT!
You are a brave woman Lexus, trust me, I know what you are getting into here! I actually had a blast raising two at once, but hey...I'm a little crazy....then again, I didn't have to worry about posting ears...you ARE crazier than me!
They are very beautiful puppies and I'm looking forward to many pictures of the pair of them.
Congratulations on your new girls!
