Feeding recommendations

Wondering what the recommended amount to feed a 10 week old puppy is?
I started to do 3/4 cups three times a day when I got him two weeks ago, and am now doing 1 cups three times. He still scarfs it all down, and seems hungry at each feeding. I usually do 630, 12, 5-6pm.

Don't want to over feed him, but don't want to underfeed him either.
What do you guys recommend?

I'm feeding him Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Puppy formula if that makes any difference. I also feed him a good amount of treats throughout the day because of training and things like the kong.

Thanks for any help!

My dog is almost 17 months and still acts like he is starving at every meal. He inhales his food in about 60 seconds! Just this week he started slowing down a little. He will look at me I between gulps or walk to the window and look around then resume. But this just started. He still also inhales half the time. It is perfectly normal for puppies to act like they are starving! :) they just like food, like us humans do hah

We were feeding 3/4ths cup 3x a day until 6 months. Then 1.5 cups 2x a day until 10 months. Now he gets 1.75-2cups 2x a day.

Go by how he looks as well. If he is looking thin, and you can see his spine or hips, feed more! If you can't see his spine or hips he is probably good. We can faintly see our boys last two ribs, and he is very defined. We keep him lighter due to having knuckling over issues as pup. We also gave and still give plenty of cookies and snacks (turkey necks, yogurt, ect).

My guy does the exact same thing, he'll stop and come over to me and look for a few seconds and then race back and eat more till it's all gone. It was weird at first but I'm starting to find it kinda cute! haha

Thanks for the advice I think I'll go back to 3/4 of a cup 3 times then and see how his body responds.

There is a pretty big variation in calorie content from food to food. Start with the feeding guidelines on the bag and adjust based on body condition.

Yes, I change foods frequently, and there can be as much as 100 (or more) calories difference between 1 cup of Brand Z and 1 cup of Brand W.
