Problems with first Heat

Look at what my girls first heat has done to her! I can only hope and pray that once this hormonal nightmare is over my beautiful baby returns to normal.
Seriously thought Cinnia was 8 months old on the 9th of this month. She started her first heat on monday the the 8th and it has been hell! She is off her raw (looks at it like it is going to bite her) She was only nibbling at her dry and drinking water. She was throwing up off and on. Tried doggy diapers she tore them off in a heartbeat, tried childrens diapers gone in a blink of an eye, tried little girls brief size 4 with a pad it worked but you are constantly pulling them up and then eureka I was told to try little boys brief. I did and they are WONDERFUL!!!! Little boys briefs size 6 (Cinnia is between 49 and 51 pounds) they have great leg holes for dobie thighs and they stay on when she is ripping and tearing around or when she is lounging. Put a pad in and you are good to go. I don't think Cinnia liked the way the doggie and childrens diapers bunched up around her legs. These briefs are cheap and reusable. Today is day 6 and I am ready for it to be over (hahaha!) She is eating a little better and has stopped throwning up. Vet says its cramps and hormones that have her all messed up. No we are not breeding her we are just waiting for her to get some more growing done. Hate seeing my girl like this can't wait for it to be over.
Sad Cinnia and Kim

poor girl.. if she has been that hormonal you will have to watch for a phantom pregnancy.. and i would also recomend getting her spayed.. why put either of you through that again !! i do hope she feels better soon !!

Believe me we won't do this again. When she is a year old we will have her spayed! We just wanted to give her body a chance to mature naturally so I think in the end this will be worth it. Thanks for the imput.
