Definitely freeze the soup bones. Also, put down an old towel since some blood off of the bones will usually get on the bedding (as the bone thaws). I make my dogs stay on the towels. If they try to move with the bone, I simply take it away. They have learned to stay put with a bone! The bones are kind of gross but the dogs love them so much and they release a lot of "chewing energy" which will be released on your furniture, wall, floors, etc. if you don't use bones.

I brought a stuffie for her to sleep with but I forgot to take it out of the care when I dropped her off!
