| Rainah & Stuffies Sooooo... I came home from work today and found little miss Rainah sitting in her crate... in a PILE of stuffing.... I have 2 pillows in there with her that I cover with a towel and she has never touched them... until today.
Just wondering if there are any symptons to look out for, that would indicate that she ate some of the stuffing. It seems like if she did eat any of it, it wasn't much because there was a TON of it left in her crate.
I have pictures. I will post them later. Can't really blame her though, there were CLEARLY dragons in those pillows... *sigh*

I've been told the Pillow dragons are of the more "ruthless" variety. They were lucky to last this long in close proxi with a slayer. I'd also venture to guess that if she did eat some stuffing the worst part would be the actual going down. I can't see stuffing holding up well to stomach acid and other digested food being piled on top. However I'm not a vet, maybe call and ask.

Yeah for Rainhah for kickin some dragon butt!
I'm sure she will be okay, Vito was & we know what a mess that was! LOL.
Heidi ate two beds, made her vomit a little but no reprocussions. We all still need to be careful for our little dragon slayers. They dont know any better. I laughed at your lower post though....they do seem so proud after, dont they?

You owe her big time, actually! It's not surprising, really, dragon sightings seem to be up everywhere lately.
On a serious note, I am not sure how to tell how much stuffing she ate, but please share with us what your vet says.

| Yep Def Dragons!! Mia has found Dragons in socks, My underwear, some of the walls in our house, Her tug rope toys, and a couple of beds. She is better now but Duke has been finding them lately. Found one in is Wubba last night. Sigh.... I knew it would only be a matter of time.
My Mia is the queen of eating stuffies. Just watch her to make sure she is not bloated, eating normal and drinking normal. If something is lodged usually they will throw up ANYTHING even water cause it can not get down. She should be fine if you have not noticed anything in a day. Probably dont need to make a vet appointment but since I see you already have one I would ask just to put your mind at ease. You may see some stuffing come out in her poop though. |

| From the days of early puppyhood, my two have been destuffing efficienardos! Any and all stuffy things were releaved of their fullness within a very short time. They became proficient in skinning any stuffy toy and we have quite a few skinned "shells" that are carried around at times reminding us of their prowess! Up until Quita's mom told us about the duracrate pad, I replaced their bedding on an average of one every two weeks. I finally settled on remenant carpeting in their crates. You have been really lucky that you have gotten so far without a stuffing party! Dobermans(and of course there are exceptions to this) LOVE to destroy pillows and toys filled with that white fluffy stuff. Just watch that they don't start on your sofa cushions!!
But, I am sure that a dragon was ferreted out of the stuffing, therefore making it acceptable!

| heehee... you guys make me laugh! thanks for al the responses!!
My vet laughed at me and said that I likely don't have anything to worry about. He said just keep an eye on her and as long as she is eating/drinking and keeping it down she will be fine. He looked at me quite strangely when I told him it was likely the dragons in the pillow that Rainah was trying to slay.... LOL
