Question Adhesive remover

Will adhesive remover help eas the pain when unwrapping the ears? I was thinking about soaking the tape while on the ears?

Yes adhesive remover will help big time. I use it everytime I unwrap ears.

OMG yes! I dont attempt it w/o it. I bought some stupid expensive stuff- then rapidly switched to goo gone! works like a champ.

I suppose you just saturate the bandages? Will it hurt the ears?

The stuff I use I order from my clinic. I have no idea where it comes from normally but man is it a lifesaver for everything! We use it to remove catheters and bandages. At home I use it for unwrapping ears. It sprays right on so I can direct it where ever I want, let it soak a little bit, and it peels right off. It leaves the ears a bit greasy afterwards so I usually take a little cottonball of alcohol and rub the ears a bit. Once dry I can repost. It comes in a white bottle with teal/blue writing. I'm sure it's generic because I haven't found a brand name yet that I can remember. It's just called Spray Bandage Adhesive Remover.

First I take bandage scissors and cut down the length of the tape on the top side of the ear. Then I put Goo Gone on a Q-tip and run that along the edges of the tape. Comes right off.

First I try to cut as much off as I can then the stuff that's physically attached to the ears or anything touching hair I use the goo gone. I don't really like the stuff--It makes a mess. The man who owns the father of my pup uses some kind of surgical adhesive remover that seems much cleaner and easier to use. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Goo gone does do the trick, though.
