I've heard plenty from both camps and need to make a decision. The dog whether it be male or female will be socialized early and often. I'm not at all worried about my families dogs and if Dobermans are anything like Pit Bulls when it comes to the male on male aggression I'm not worried about it. I wanted a few experienced opinions and I've received them so now it's up to me to figure this out. If there are people with several males in the same household and things have been fine it's a testament to socialization and not only breed temperament. Thanks for the info everyone. I'm sure I'll have more questions to post much sooner than later.
