You can use it on his bedding too, prior to washing it in the laundry, if he soils that.
Although he probably had no choice in the pet store/puppy mill, it is your puppy's instinct to not want to soil his sleeping area, so be consistent with the crate, clean up all inside messes thoroughly with the nature's miracle, and encourage him to use a specific area outside by praising him for going there, and taking him to the same spot each time. He'll get it eventually, but you'll have to be very patient with him.
I hope this helps.. But it sounds like you are going to be very very busy for the next couple of weeks. | |

| Hey and welcome from hamilton Ontario. Glad to see that you've found dobermantalk, its a great resource.
I would also give the "pet store" lecture but its already been said. Make sure that his crate is not too big, he should not be able to soil one area and lie in another, sounds mean... but its the case, also no blankets until he's reliable.
I think because of the pet store thing you will likely have to take him out a few times, even at night, lots or praise for going outside and then back in the crate. Be VERY consistent. Feed at the same exact times every day, let out at the same exact times, put in at the exact same times and let out of the crate at the exact same times.
also, get that paw checked.
also, what sex are all of your dogs? I hope that the ( what I'm assuming is a min pin? by your medium sized... since there is no medium sized doberman...) is not male.

| That'll be a different forum, this is Dobe Talk only ;-) LOL! Seriously tho, I dunno, download to your computer, make a file and then try again. If that doesn't work, throw out your camera and your computer and go get new ones. I figure that's the way to deal with tech issues.
