|  Nine days with Zack
Zack is my first Doberman. He's 7 1/2 months old and he's been with us 9 days now.
I can't believe how sweet he is. I read everyone's comments about how much Dobes are into their people but I never imagined this. I can't even walk, he stands so close to me I almost trip. I've never had a dog lie ON my foot while I fold the laundry...
And, he's very smart. Here's a non-exhaustive list of what he's learned in nine days :
- his new name (he was called Thunder before)
- Sit
- Recall off leash
- Walk on leash without pulling
- Wait for ok before eating
- Wait for ok before crossing the street (no cars here)
- Pee on command (I always teach my dogs that, it's very handy)
- Play hockey with my son (he brings the ball back)
- Stay outside a little while without barking (well, sort of...)
- Not bark at strangers on walks
So needless to say I'm a very happy girl. He's so good looking too. It seems like he's gaining muscle everyday.
