| I ask Grace where her waggy tail is, again, done in a silly baby voice works best. I don't do many tricks, but am very proud that Grace has learned what is meant by inside and outside toys, piles at the door on both sides. Now to teach Rex that kongs don't belong in the yard and Anna that tennis balls stay outside. Now if I could get Grace to release her ball on the first command that would be something!

| a good party trick is " leave it " when you put a dog biscuit on the paw and make them leave it till you release them to eat it.
i know loads on here teach that to there dogs.. but every bbq we have been to over the summer my 2 were the only dogs who could do it !!
some red faced lab owners when they couldnt keep up LOL !!! |

| My JRT Reno knows tricks like
"show me some grill"- in response he curls up his lips and shows all his teeth.
He also knows army crawl- he lays flat and drags himself across the room on his belly.
He was so easy to teach, the dobes on the other hand---well not so easy. Vegas knows "back it up"- where he steps back three or four steps, great for trying to kick the ball without kicking him in the head.
Vegas' favorite trick-self learned- is whining in the middle of the night so I get up to let him out and as soon as I head down the hall to the door he jumps in the bed and steals my spot. I fall for it every time....guess I'm the one in training here. LOL |

| | Big Pup | ^lol
Bandit used to know to "shake" and then I would put my hand up in the air and say "High five" and he would stand up and put his paw in my hand, it takes alot for him to do those now tho. Susie on the other hand knows to sit up (self learned trick) and she also knows the "ballerina" where she stands up and twirls all the way around. My other 2 dont know anything tho. It's hard trying to teach a dog tricks when all the other dogs wont stop jumping on them or barking, lol.

| After Red takes a drink of water, we tell him "clean the mouth" and he licks his lips on command till they're not dripping anymore |
