And then I say Duke Duke or Dufus in a high pitch voice and he not only wags his numb but his whole butt wags as well. He is such a dork but a good one.

Then when we are feeding him he will do like 10 circles in his kennel and then he gets his food.

That was more his self taught trick though.

Go get bone and she will go and get her bone.
Where is your ball? And she will go get her ball.
Get your rope. Or want to tug? And she will go over and bring me her rope toy.
Circle. She will turn many circles for treats.
Balancing a treat on her nose till I say "get it." I have been trying to get her to flip her head up and catch it in the air too. She has only attempted to do this once or twice and actually catch it. Now it just kinda flies behind her....But it is nice how she will leave it on her nose!!

That is awesome. I had a wolf/german shephard mix years ago that could get a can from the fridge. We quit letting him do it when I woke up one morning and he had ripped everything out of the fridge and ate it. I really really love the lights on and off though, I have to try that now.

i can put a treat on leroys nose and he will leave it until i say 'get it"

He knows how to bow on command, and i just taught him how to play dead. Ill say "play dead" and he falls to the ground and rolls on his back. Ill also tell him "be a good boy" and he lays down.

Heehee...yeah, when leftovers started disappearing so did the towel he used to open the door lol.

The light trick solved the age old battle of who has to turn off the lights at night!! When you are all snuggly in bed thats the last thing anyone wants to do so Twitch gets stuck doing it

HAHA, that video is cool/funny! I started teaching Baron to do that. He sort of would stay there, but I think it was because he couldn't actually see that something was on his nose because I was using kibble (he'd be too excited for a treat to stay still). But now when I try and I grab his muzzle to put it on his nose, like you did in the video, he just wraps both of he paws around my arm and I can't do it. Oh well.

Baron knows the usual suspects:
Sit
Down
Shake
Stay

He learned sit and shake so fast I figured he would be able to learn more, but he's not doing so well with anything else (probably because I'm not training/teaching him all that diligently).

I made the mistake of showing DH this. Now he has a single-minded mision to teach the dogs to get him beer!

it fairly easy...all you do is catch them in the act of stretching (when they bow and stick their butt in the air). Just say "bow" and give treat and praise...it took leroy 3 days to get this trick down...Just remember everytime you see your dobe stretch like that just say 'bow", treat , praise and in no time they will be bowing!! good luck!
