Hi Im new here, and new to the whole doberman thing. Well, I had a dobe once, but lost him at 10 weeks to parvo, I think I was on this forum at the time actually. That was about 2-3 years ago.. I decided to give it another shot. Here is Diesel.
I am so sorry to hear about your puppy... My heart goes out to you.
I'm happy though that you have a new Dober baby! Diesel is a very cute boy! Love the hat.

Thanks! Is that foam hat normal? lol, it looks so silly, I cant wait to get it off and the stitches removed.. Im so afraid hes going to get his cheese head unglued.
Hahaha. Yeah, I'm sure it's normal, though vet's use different items on their poor little melons. (I found that out by being on this forum ).
My Vito got this party hat:

After seeing Vito I dont mind the cheese head so much! Lol =)
Aw...poor baby Vito! *he hangs in head in embarrassment*
But it was time well spent in embarrassment as he looks so handsome now with his ears!

Nice looking puppy and a great name (my puppy is also named Diesel)! My vet used mole foam which was glued inside of the ear until the stitches were ready to come out. It is much easier on the puppy and far less bothersome.
What a cutie pie! I`m sure you`ll have great luck with this guy. Hes precious and I love his hat too. Welcome to the forum, sorry about your other pup.
