A Few Questions about Romeos behaviours / Ears / And stuff. :)

Hey guys I had a few things I wanted to ask.
This has to do with ears and some other things...

1. Romeo jumps up and nipps on my jeans when we walk. When I correct him and tell him no, and yelp. He grows and barks. This usually happens in some places. Mostly on the street when im crossing it. and in this area where there is grass but he cant go on it because dogs not allowed.

2. I have been posting for a little while now. I've noticed people have not been putting the tape in the middle of his ears between each other, and letting them hang. Should I do that or still tape between. They seem to stand pritty good without it.

3. Romeo is now 4 months old and he is I think exactly 40 pounds. is that correct should he be that size. I have people telling me hes going to be huge way larger then a normal dobi. Is that true or is it bull? He eats healthy and normal portions.

Romeo is the happiest puppy in the world. Hes a very fast learn and has alot of human reactions of getting what he wants. But I want the best for him and want to know the best way to approach some of the things to correct them.

SO THANKS EVERYONE !!

my zeus is -was 33 pounds last week 20 inches at the shoulder. his sister is a bit bigger then him 38 pounds. so I think your pup is normal sized.

I think if he barks and growls after you correct him....he does not take you serious.... he needs a firmer correction. maybe practice your meanest strongest voice

I still tape inbetween......just because.....

#1. Correct him for that behavior. Don't let him get away with it. A firm NO! if he responds to that with growling/barking, take it to the next level - put him in a down and make him stay there until you release him which isn't until he settles down. You can put him in the down by stepping on the leash with your foot and holding it there.

#2 don't use the middle tape bridge if you don't need it.

#3 sounds ok, but post a pic

to me he looks fine - a big boy. All the more reason he learns "No" now before he gets to be a really big boy and develops selective hearing. Not that the only word he ever hears is no, but you know what I mean. Teach him now the proper behaviors and it can be in a positive way.
