I have heard everyone talk about their dobe being "velcro" and this particular breed be a velcro dog.

I have a magnet dog. He is literally stuck to me right now. I think he thinks he weighs a triffle under 2 pounds instead of 40... i work a lot on the couch and i'm frikkin HOT from him always laying on me. He plays with his toys on me... gives me hugs... nibbles on my ear... plays with my hair!! anyone else have a dober magnet?

I have one - and he weighs 100lbs. Be glad yours is only 40lbs - LOL.

I have 2 lol they're almost 4 months, if dad's not home they're on this short little love seat with me. If dad is home then Tosca is with him and Carly is my magnet. and she does all the same, nibbles, she is a major hair sniffer if I go anywhere (which isn't often i'm a stay at home mom) she will molest my hair for all the smells i encountered without her, will try and help me cook. They're both tipping the scales at 30 now, so having both trying to be on my lap at the same time so isn't fun!

Rainah is a magnet as well. If I sit down she is on top of me... sniffing and licking my face and trying to chew my hair... she LOVES to chew hair...

If I get up and walk to the kitchen, which is literally 5 steps away she gets up (even if she is dead asleep) and comes with me.... at first I found it a little irritating.... but now I love it.... she is a mamas girl!!!

Cheers is a magnet,too! She loves to "share" her toys and bones by plopping them on us or smooshing them in our face. We let her snuggle at night on the bed and she falls asleep with her head on my stomach or chest while we are watching TV or reading. I have to turn on the ceiling fan because she gets HOT! And it is hard to read with large show crop ears in front of the pages of your book!

She gets crated for the night after her snuggles, but she sure likes the one on one time.

Chopper is more like velcro, he'll stick by me for a while but eventually peel himself off to go lay down on my bed. If he is sleeping on the couch next to me he won't follow me when I get up anymore.

When we're at a park and he's off leash he'll never be further then about 15ft from me.

Vito is definitely a magnet!!! From the minute we get up til we leave for work -- and from the minute I get home until we go back to bed. He even is plastered to me during the night! It's endearing how they just can't get close enough!
