your boy looks pretty skinny in those pics - how much does he weigh?
there's a few pointers - is your breeder close by that they can help you by showing you how they post? that is the easiest way to do this - having an experienced poster show you how to do things right in front of you, its easiest to learn that way.
first, as mentioned, your post is in the bell, and it needs to go down into his ear canal, which will help hold it in to some degree, as well as make sure his ears are straight.
second, you have flattened out the little fold in the inner portion of his ear at the base, that you need to preserve - this provides stability to the ear. when you tape the ears, you need to tape this fold INTO the ear, making sure you do not flatten it.
third, in line with preserving the fold, your tape is in the wrong direction - you tape the left ear counterclockwise and the right ear clockwise - always towards the center of the head, so that you can easily preserve the fold in the ear.
fourth, you will need to go further down on the ear to make sure more of the base of the ear, so that the posts do not pop out and that the base stands up properly.
fifth, the brace is too tight since it is pulling his ears upright - you want the brace to be slightly loose so that he has the opportunity to learn to use his own muscles
do a search on this board - there are multiple links on posting ears:
