I'm willing to bet the general concensus will be to exercise some tough love - i.e., continue offering the food until she accepts it. You can try putting it down for 15 minutes, and if Scout doesn't eat, take it away. Then offer it again at the next meal time. It might take her a few days, but she won't starve herself. The hardest thing is to just let her be hungry for a while.

It's hard - I had to do it with Tucker, and he was all bony hips before he succumbed to the fact that his Innova was tasty.

All that variety would make any dog finicky. Pick the food that you want to feed and stick with it. Any food you feed at this point she will stop eating. Just don't give in and switch again or you will create a life-long problem. If she doesn't eat what's offered to her then take it up and don't give her anything else until it's offered again at her next meal.

I know how you feel. Jax was a picky eater, too. I would switch foods and he would like them for a while, and then not like them so much after a while. I couldn't stand to do the tough love all at once with him, as I couldn't watch him get thinner than he already was. I purchased the canned Merrick dog food and mixed with his dry food. He SCARFED it down! I started taking it away after about 15-20 minutes and not putting more down until the next meal time. It worked! He now scarfs his meals down, without the Merrick. Although he still loves when I add it. He has put on good weight and held it. He's been on straight dry food now for about 2 weeks.

The Merrick canned food looks good enough for me to eat!

I have the pickiest dogs!!!! My Dobe started displaying disinterest in his food around 7 - 8 months old. He would sniff it, take a couple bites, then that's it.

Sometimes, I would give them other things like homecooked chicken and rice so they thought that not eating their kibble would ensure the good stuff...but we stood our ground and they ate!

Maybe try to mix in some canned food with the kibble to entice her to eat, then after she's been eating consistently you can wean out the canned stuff, if you like. I find that females can hold out longer than the dopey males..

Good Luck!
