Hey, that cat door, can it be locked shut, when needed?

I would prefer the cats not go in the room Kylie is confined in, when I'm gone.

Kylie easily leaps over a three foot gate, but this one, especially if mounted a couple more inches off the floor, looks like it might work.

Yup, it has a latch on it so you can lock it shut.

I do just the opposite - I tie it open because I have the gate placed in a doorway that the cats must be able to get through to go to the litterbox and I never want the door to shut accidentally.
