I am looking for suggestions for a dig-proof dog bed. My 16 month old dobie seems to think that he can dig for China through all his beds. I am not concerned about cost, but in my research all I'm finding is great chew resistant and chew proof beds. I'm not sure they are the best option. Anyone else have a persistent digger? What are you finding to work best? Right now, he is using a king size comforter in his crate and I'm just throwing it away and purchasing new when its soiled.

btw, he only digs when I am gone so its not a behavior I can correct verbally when I observe it.

I had one for my old Dobie years ago and it was excellent. He loved to dig down and make a nest. Don't be put off by the website they are very good and it lasted all the time we has him, the only thing we needed to do was top it up a couple of times a year.

Try Orvis, they have great selection of durable beds and they will allow returns if you are unhappy with the product or if it gets damaged. I love my orvis beds, & they go through a beating!
