Thumbs up "Veggie" toys at Target

Bo (being a big puppy) is a huge chewer. My problem is, toys are either too "hard" and he doesn't want to chew them, or are made of very thin vinyl and he chews pieces off and I have to take them away. Well, I found these vegetable shaped toys at Target. I saw "corn on the cob" and got him a pod of peas. They are vinyl, but solid all the way thru and have a squeaker. They are $4.99 each I believe. Bo loves his peas, and he can't get little pieces off of it. He seems to get great "chewing" relief from it. Just thought I'd share.

Big thumbs down for dog clothes at Target though, lol. I saw a cute T-shirt, found an XL and read on the tag that XL fits dogs up to 30 lbs. Maybe I could sew 3 together, lol.

I'm sure you read the label correctly this time, Target being Target, but once at Petco I was looking at sizes of clothes, annoyed just like you, and then I realized the figure they were giving was in inches---neck to tail---not pounds. Just a comment.

Haha..no they gave an inches too- I was thinking about how long Bo was, then read under it that if fit dogs from 25-30 lbs

AWWWWWWW, I though they were REAL veggie toys. lol. I give my guys, carrots, corn on the cob, potatoes, zuchinni
etc. for chew toys. They LOVE them and as the veggies are all home grown, organic they are GOOD for them too.

Bo likes real boiled veggies, they just don't last too long with him I haven't given him corn on the cob though, afraid he might choke.

I give my guys raw veggies for toys, but I steam them lightly for their dindins. Yes corn cobs can be choking hazards! I
only give them fresh right off the plant, they love to eat the kernals off, the cobs are much softer when fresh off the
corn stalk.

I had a persian that was obcessed with eating corn on the cob. It was hilarious to watch him eating kernels off with his flat face. Sadly I lost all my photos in a fire years ago.

Dobemom2b, Haha, I can imagine that flat faced Persian with corn juice all over his wiskers. lol .Good thing Dobes have the wedge head, great for getting at the kernals.
We had our house burn down when I was young, I lost all my early childhood mementos. Sucks.
