| We started agility!! We have finally started agility classes!! we had our first class last Thursday and it was so much fun! Of course my reactive dog had to bark at the other dog in our class but after that he was fine and did not even look at other dogs that were in my class and very focused on me and the treats. I am very very new and just learning this agility stuff so forgive me but we did this circle board he stands on and it has a focus under it to make board wobble. The trainer was so impressed with how eager he was to get in the board for me she had to change the difficulty(make it move more) three times. Then we did this pvc pipe ladder thing where he walked thru and finally started some poles. I am so excited and look forward going to watch the trial in Vero beach (If anyone is going please let me know I would love to know people with dobes there)
I can't believe we have been missing out on this!! I would have started him as a puppy getting use to everything but I am so happy we started. |

| | Terriorist tamer | Awesome news - sounds like a good class to if you are doing foundation stuff rather than just throwing the dogs onto gear!

I have met with few local trainers and then laughed at one because she told me that she read alot of books and watched movies when I asked about her experience with training dogs... She was just starting out and I was not about to be her trail run.
