It was a GREAT weekend at the agility trial. Delta came into the weekend with 17 Double Q's towards her MACH7, and needed 3 more to finish it. We were running Friday, Saturday and Sunday. She ended up having a perfect weekend qualifying with fantastic runs on all 6 runs, thus she earned the last 3 Double Q's she needed back-to-back-to-back. I am so proud of my girl, she is a phenomenal agility dog and it has been a joy to run her. At MACH7 she now has a grand total of 140 Double Q's and several thousand points (6,000+).

She has now achieved what only one other doberman has done to date- as she is only the 2nd doberman ever to earn the Master Agility Championship 7 times over.

And she has no plans of quitting yet

I have it recorded, but I am not that great at getting the videos off of the camera! I may try and post it at some point.

That is incredible - 3 QQ's in one weekend - ever done that before? Who were the judges?

I have indeed! I think we have done it about 7 times, with many 4/4 weekends and a bunch of 5/6 or 6/7 weekends. I think one of my best weekends was a 3 day show where I got a Double Q on Saturday, and a Quadruple Q (T2B + FAST) on Sunday, followed up with a Double Q on Monday. I was on Cloud 9 after that one. We had Don Farage and Kathy Humphries for judges this weekend. The courses were nice and they were pleasant to work with. It is one of only 2 dirt trials in MN during the whole year, so it was great to be running on dirt again.

I also ran a Portuguese Water Dog for a friend on Friday and Saturday. I have run him once about a year ago and that's it. We ended up with 5 out of 6 Q's (1 JWW, 2 STD, 2 T2B)! Considering how little he knows me and the fact he doesn't have reliable weaves I was pleased.

You must a terrific handler and one I would love to watch sometime. Excellent, just excellent...! You make dobe owners everywhere very proud to count you as one of our own. Thank you.

I love running agility with the dobes, and Delta has been a fantastic dog, teaching me a lot over the years. I try hard, and I get complimented on my handling regularly, but I must admit I am one of the CLUMSIEST people outside of the ring, inside the ring is a different story. I do not understand it myself. I trip over side walks, run into doors, fall down stairs, the whole nine yards, but some how I can make it around a course running flat out, turning, and NOT watching where I am going and not fall over. I don't get it

It sort of defies logic.

Okay, so I got a couple videos together for all of you!

Delta is an interesting dog, she doesn't have the ground speed that my other dogs do, but her ability to read turns, and turn on a dime gives her some of the tightest lines of any doberman I have ever seen.

ETA: It might not be obvious from just these 2 videos, but she doesn't have a start line
