Thank you for sharing the videos. Looks like this weekend would have been a fun trail to come watch. Where was it at?

Thank you for sharing the videos. Looks like this weekend would have been a fun trail to come watch. Where was it at? | It is a fun trial! It was at Simons Arena in Cannon Falls, MN. I love running on the dirt, as do the dogs. Plus this year they had the heat set a little higher. In the past it has been rather cold inside. If you ever want to know when there are more trials coming up, just let me know and I can make a list.

Here is another one of her runs from the Agility Invitational in Orlando, FL in December. Delta (Doberman) - AKC Agility Invitational Round 2 - JWW - YouTube
Delta is an interesting dog, she doesn't have the ground speed that my other dogs do, but her ability to read turns, and turn on a dime gives her some of the tightest lines of any doberman I have ever seen.
ETA: It might not be obvious from just these 2 videos, but she doesn't have a start line | Yes I noticed the start line and you handle it well. I know a woman with paps who used to throw her boy backwards so she could get out in front of him. Eventually judges told her she couldn't bowl him back like that (he was airborne!).
I love your handling, you are very clear and her tight turns are fabulous. Very nice team to watch, you are both so in tune.
Thank you so much for sharing.

Thank you so much for sharing. | Thank you! It has been a few years since I gave up a start line with her, so I have had lots of practice She doesn't have a lot of patience once we walk on to the course.
Although I do wish I had started a little differently at the invitational on round 2, I didn't have enough time to get where I needed to be in the opening stretch and I had to get the front crosses in. The rears were very ugly in the opening. She took off faster than expected and I didn't have enough of a boomerang.
We had one of those handlers here that did something like that, eventually they got called out on it. The dog did't really care, but it was a a little over zealous on the handler's part at times.

| OMG...what an accomplishment and all the work and effort it took to get there!!!
I can't even imagine how proud you must be.
So, you going for breaking records now?
Is Delta nine years old? She DOES NOT look nine at all...looks years younger!
Heavens, nearly forgot to congratulate you!
Congratulations on your and Delta's accomplishments!!!

Congratulations on your and Delta's accomplishments!!! | Thank you! I would love to be the top MACH but that won't happen Flare is too far ahead for me to even think we have a chance of catching up. She is like super-dobe.
I am very elated right now, never in my wildest dreams did I think she would do it. Yes, she is 9 years old, actually going in 9 1/2 now (born 9/5/2003). She got her 1st MACH in the fall of 2008. At that point it was a dream come true. I thought just maybe we could get MACH3, which came and went. When she got to MACH5 (this past March) I knew it was a possibility that she could do it, but I also knew in the back of mind a lot could change in a year. She could have just as easily been injured or no longer fit to trial. I am happy that she is still here with me, ready to run and give it her best!
