Talking Fantastic OB class

Had to share since I am so ecstatic!

Over the last few months Spok has been going through his adolescence which in his case transpires as "I don't really care what you want, I'm going to do what I want". So his obedience classes have been rough and we're doing level 3 for the 3rd time. He had a tendency to charge other dogs to play, to break sit stays and gave no regard to where I was and no absolutely no focus.

Many things were tried but no treat or toy was ever high enough value.

Until a few weeks ago I started using his supper and this has proven IMMENSELY high value.

So this evening, our class was AMAZING!!!! No visiting other dogs, no moving on down-stays, 95% attention during the whole class and very much a decrease in complaining.

So I just had to share! Thanks all

Yes I am very much planning on competitions. If I can, I'd love to get up to UD. However, we are far from that at the moment. I will start with local fun matches.

It IS an amazing feeling! I'm so happy we persevered throughout it and didn't give up. Some classes really had been DISASTEROUS. Now our goal seems much more attainable!

Congratulations! And, yes, it is a great feeling when the "light bulb" goes on. Best of luck in your future endeavors with Spok (love the name)!
