 | Bella wins two 1st's in CFF!
Bella won first place in Level IIA at both of the Canine Freestyle Federation's Titling Events on Nov. 2nd and 3rd. I was waiting on the photo disc to do this thread but just can't wait it out! Level II routines are off leash and the performance area has no ring gates. This was Bella's first competition. I am so proud of her because much of her training time has derailed due to her fight with tick-borne disease (she is now back on high dose of doxy again which really sucks) plus she had a real slump of grief over Zen. For a dog who had never even been trained to heel prior to Feb. of this year when I started training her for freestyle she has grown by leaps and bounds. She loves training.
If you want to see what the original Canine Freestyle is like (no costumes and no people dancing!) you can visit the Canine Freestyle Federation website and watch some beautiful videos of this wonderfully demanding dog sport. Membership
Some people describe it as "dog dressage to music". Here is Bella (and me) with her first place trophy bag and medallion after Sunday's trial. What a great girl she is! |
