I just moved out of SORRY-cuse, I moved to kirkville... I love it out in the sticks now. I was living on James St. and I couldnt walk down the street without people asking all sorts of dumb questions. Now we walk the fields and sometimes the trails (although they are flooded right now) twice a day!

I've had Dobe Fever for 40 years and I just can't be cured.

Wow! What adorable available dobe's there for adoption. Some day we will have the space to have more than 1 dog. And our next dobe will be a rescue.

Hi Dragonflyz, I just registered today and this is my first post. I, too, am in Rochester (Gates). I was so psyched to see your post! Tango is gorgeous!!! Can I ask what breeder you went through?

I have a doberman mix, Ginger, that we got from Verona Street as a puppy. She is not docked or cropped but exquisite just the same. She is six now. I love her to pieces; she is the sweetest, most intelligent, most wonderful dog. Since getting her, I am obsessed with Dobermans. I love reading about them, going on message boards, talking with others who have a dobie, etc. You don't see many around here. I don't know if you've gone to the "new" dog park in Greece, but I saw one there one time. I think it was a female, probably about 16 weeks old - all legs and bouncing all over the place. You must compete with Tango because I noticed his titles. Where do you show? Any chance Sampson State Park in Sept.? My husband and I are planning on going. We missed the show in July in Hilton.

Hi M649, I am not in the market for a puppy, but I watch the Braveheart doberman site all the time. They are in Franklinville, NY. When I am ready for another dog, I'm pretty sure that is where I will go. They just had a little in July and five males are available (not yet released). They come docked and cropped, microchipped, shots. Good luck!

Thank you for the compliment, we must be neighbors! I do not take Tango to Dog parks as I don't think most people know how to keep their dogs under control. Tango is also not neutered, which can cause all kinds of issues at a dog park. I do show Tango but currently he is not entered in any shows. I plan on doing his TT in October and maybe his CD in the spring if I can get some practice in before hand. I would like to finish his CH but cannot afford a Pro to handle him and getting majors is tough for a unknown handler. Welcome to DT

Greenfield Center (saratoga springs, NY area) we moved from cuse' last year.. we don't have our dobe yet but i have dobe fever and CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Im in Lomg Island, West Islip , NY ..anybody close to me?? Never saw one single doberman in the area or at the dogs parks and, of course, I cant get close to people to ask because when they see me with the dobes... owners and dogs run for their lives, which upset me very much.
