... be so stupid as to leave a roll of paper towels out where a puppy can get them. Macy loves to carry things around and is always searching for something new and exciting. What did I do? Bring some supplies from the basement around to the kitchen door, set them down on the porch, and then go off to do some gardening fun. Do you have ANY IDEA how many pieces one roll of paper towels can be torn into by an industrious one year old puppy??? Enjoy the laugh - it's on me!

And she's OFF to shower the meadow with paper towel snow!

Trish, I always thought that paper towels and napkins were the one things Jordan loves more than his mom. On or off the roll! He's pooped out colon shaped paper more times than I can count. I don't even know where he gets it sometimes because I surely take it away anytime I find him with it.

She sure did have fun with it. Bella looked more interested in the chase.

Since you have all that experience, is there some magically easy way to pick up all those little pieces???

What breed/s is she?

How good are you at archery? You could tie a string to the arrow, shoot the paper towel piece and drag it back to you. If you're skilled enough, perhaps you could do it while sitting on one of those lawn chairs.

Well, no bow or arrows, darn it! Macy is a Papillion/Border Collie cross - a "leftover" from a flyball breeding. We are getting lots of these types of crosses in our shelters as flyball increases in popularity. As you may know, they want a super fast very short dog on each team since the jumps are set to the height for the shortest dog. So, BC/Jack Russell, BC/Papillion, BC/Border Terrier, etc. Whole litters sometimes come in - I guess some breeders take the "pick" and dump the rest. Any, she is a wonderful, creative, crazy SMART, fun little addition to our family. We're smitten with her!

Thank you...could not, for the life of me, think of the name of the breed she looked like...papillion. BC blood, no wonder she's so busy...yeesss, blame it on the BC.

Yeah, knew about the flyball breedings and purpose for it, but had no idea they were dumping "extra" puppies...GREAT!!! Won't be looking at that sport the same again.

Dumping of extra puppies seems to happen everywhere unfortunately, agility breedings, show breedings, working field, farm and hunting breedings, designer dog breedings, BYB breedings.....
