| Mardy the poodle x schnauzer! First, Mardy is not my dog but belongs to a family that I know through of my jobs. Last summer the mother of the family contacted me about getting a puppy for their daughter and helping them with training. After I talked her out of getting a "teacup" yorkie I never heard back until two weeks ago when I got an email about their new puppy.
Mardy is a 15 week old poodle x schnauzer mix and he is cute as a button. Basically, I'm his puppy-nanny. I'm staying with him this week while his people are out of town so I can work on house-breaking and basic training. He's smart and picks up on things quickly but has a very short attention span so we're working on keeping his attention, sit, lay down, stay, wait, come, and slight bite inhibition.
Anyways, PICTURES, because he's super adorable. untitled by Living Ruthless Photography, on Flickr untitled by Living Ruthless Photography, on Flickr untitled by Living Ruthless Photography, on Flickr untitled by Living Ruthless Photography, on Flickr untitled by Living Ruthless Photography, on Flickr untitled by Living Ruthless Photography, on Flickr untitled by Living Ruthless Photography, on Flickr

| Cute! And what a good puppy nanny you are, training AND taking adorable pictures? What more could a family ask for?

| Sorry, can't get excited over them supporting a designer mutt greeder.

I was taken aback too an discussed it with them after the fact (I'd also mentioned it during the yorkie search but, apparently, not enough). I wish they had let me help them find a puppy/breeder but that wasn't the case. Still, I'm glad they contacted me at all to help with training and we not only discussed foods but I got him off of the puppy chow that he was on and moving onto Instinct instead. I won't support his breeder (or any like it) and I'll always do what I can to educate dog owners. They did not know better and I have nobody to blame but myself but I'm not going to punish the dog or the family because of that.

| He is kind of cute, but I have to say this about him before I explode....
BAD HAIR DAY IN THE MAKING!
Wow is that dog going to take some upkeep in the hair department.
Good luck on the educatiing, in relation to both dog and humans. |

| Cute! Too bad it's a designer, but glad you are using it as an opportunity to educate! Plus, you might as well help a dog become a good member of society. Nice work! |

| | Big Dog | Did they buy him or rescue him? I think I missed that part.
We have tons of poodle/schnauzer mixes in shelters here.
He is very cute! |
