And Desy, no. Tell him to think more along the lines of "raisins," than marshmallows.
The marshmallow bit was a joke oriented around the almost saccharinely sweet appearance of the bunnies. Obviously, rabbit turds look decidedly different.

The Doctor: It's not the robots, it's the people. Dressing them up and giving them silly voices. You're reducing them.
Roman Groom: Yeah. Friend of mine, she made her domestic robot look like a dog.
The Doctor: Ah, well, dogs. That's different.

Oh, yeah, I got that.

I just was reminded of--and wish I had a digital picture of--an old cartoon a friend sent me, where three little kid rabbits are sitting on a couch, watching TV, while Mom Rabbit, sporting flowered apron, vacuums in the background.

Mom is asking, "HEY! Who left these raisins all over the floor?! Waaaiit...these aren't raisins..."

Squeee!!! They are freaking adorable! I used to have a mini lop, grey and white. She had free range of the house and was litter trained. I will never get another rabbit, because Clara's temperament was to die for and I will always compare them to her. She even got out of the house one day and tried to follow us to school and was picked up by a police officer lol.

I felt that way about my Halo. He was a Dwarf Hotot, and was the smartest sweetest funniest bun ever.

Once, I got home from work, and my two cats and dogs were at the door as usual, waiting to greet me, but as I was saying my "hellos" I heard me saying, "Hi, Halo," too.

Erm, Halo had started out the day behind an extra tall security gate at the top of the stairs.

That was standard, for safety reasons, even though dogs, cats, and buns got along great when I was home.

I assumed I had a brain stutter and didn't lock him up as usual.

Next day I got home and said, "Hi Mojo, Hi Zoe, Hi...Halo." He was climbing that gate and jumping down onto a very steep staircase--all 2.5 pounds of him.

Little sneak had full house privileges, from then on, 24/7, because, really--who was gonna stop him?

That's awesome.

I had a dwarf bunny named Babs when I was a kid. She wasn't permitted to roam freely at all times, but she was allowed out of her cage a few hours per day and her access to the house during that period was not restricted. (There always had to be someone monitoring her, though, because my mother was extremely paranoid that she might chew a cord or cable and electrocute herself. )

The thing I found the most extraordinary about her, and which I thought was pretty unusual at the time, was that she got along so well with our cats. In fact, she used to curl up with one of our male kitties in an old planter on one of the windowsills of our porch all the time. They would actually spoon...
