Thanks, everyone!

Bruce has an infatuation with flipping his water dish too...fun isn't it?! |
Haha, yeah, fun...
I hope she stops soon. It's been hard trying to get creative with it so she can't flip it. We had put it up for a while and were just bringing it down intermittently for the dogs to drink, but then the adults weren't drinking enough.

It was great! I had such a good weekend. They were really nice and comfortable, plus we were super busy, so not really any time to feel uncomfortable. I was kind of sad to be leaving, actually.

I have no idea, but hopefully the tape helps. If not, oh well, but I want to give it a good try anyway.
She's mainly an active pet but I want to do a few different sports with her and will show her in conformation as well. I don't have to, but I want to for her breeder. There is also an Aussie person around here who teaches herding lessons so I might check those out as well.

p.s. I have to laugh how Ripley and Keira are in the dog beds and Journey on the hardwood. I have the same thing going here LOL. Lucy on the sofa or dog bed and Gidget on the hardwood. |
All three of my dogs are fantastic with puppies. It's really nice. Sometimes I wish Ripley and Dance would tell her off a bit more instead of letting her get away with everything, but at least she has Keira to teach her some doggy rules.
And yeah, she prefers to lay on the floor as opposed to the beds haha. She's always hot. And yet she hasn't clued in that laying between the beds in front of the fireplace is still pretty warm. Sometimes I find her sleeping by either the front or back door just because it's cooler there.
Speaking of Gidget, there seems to be a severe lack of pictures of her around here (and of Lucy too). ;-)

Thanks! And yeah, fortunately I don't mind the hair! I could do without the foot/ear tidying every few weeks, but otherwise hairy dogs don't bother me at all. I was going to go for a different breed just because that breed has less hair usually than Aussies, but decided that hair doesn't really matter to me. I already have Dance, what's one more fuzzy one?

Please update us with pics! She already looks much bigger than your other pics of her. merry christmas! |
I keep telling her to stop growing so fast, but she doesn't listen! Already she looks a little less puppy like compared to when I got her.

I don't know very much about that breed, but aren't they energetic like border collies? Do well with agility and herding, fly ball etc? Keep the pictures coming ! dang so many puppies lately, makes me want another puppy. lol In looking back the one where she looks like she is just a wee bit lip curling up over one of your dogs is sooo funny and I like the one with her head on your doberman's bed ahahahah. like please can I come and curl up with you.. sooo sweeet. |
They are a high energy breed that likes to keep busy and do things. They're very versatile and capable of doing all kinds of different activities. My breeder's dogs are mainly show dogs, but also excel in Obedience, Agility, Disc Dog, Dock Diving, etc. She also takes them for herding here and there, although doesn't have sheep of her own.
Haha, yeah, she wrestles pretty hard with Dance. That lip curl is probably just the beginning of a bark, though. She's a bossy little thing and likes her voice.
And all of my dogs are good about sharing the beds. Ripley wouldn't mind if she crawled in with him at all. But she gets too hot, so lays on the floor beside them instead. That way she still feels like she's with the other dogs I guess, but can stay a little cooler.
