| Couple of updated photos of Willow (Dobe/Lab/Shep mix) I haven't posted any photos of Willow for quite some time, so here she is at nearly 10 months. She was rescued at 5 1/2 or 6 months of age from a shelter in Oklahoma; I have had her for 4 months.
She's a great dog. Extremely friendly and mild, even when under stress. I can brush her teeth, file her nails, brush and trim her fur, take her to the vet to be poked and prodded and receive injections, and, in one situation, have a busted and peeled toenail manipulated and removed...and she has never growled, snapped, or threatened anyone in any way.
I guess I find that remarkable because a) she was a previously abused stray (among other things, she'd been shot at least twice in the head with a BB gun, and has a few obvious scars elsewhere) and b) my beagle mix, wonderful dog that he is most of the time and who has never been hit or otherwise abused in his life, has no compunction against biting me just for trimming his toenails.
She's one of those dogs that is oblivious to personal space, though, and isn't especially careful about where she puts her feet (or her elbows, or her muzzle...). Her official nickname is "Slappy Paws".

| Thank you for looking! I usually frequent the doberman specific boards; I'm not sure how many of the regulars there come here, but I know there were a few people that wanted to see more recent photos of her.
Since she's not a purebred dobe (half at most, more than likely only a quarter), I didn't think it was appropriate to post this thread anywhere else. Hopefully the people who were interested in how she's coming along will find this post.

| So cute! She's got the most expressive face. Thanks for sharing.
The best dog I ever had- I'll miss her forever- was a lab/doberman mix I rescued from a shelter. Love of my life.
Best of luck!
