At the end of 2011, Havoc’s breeder asked what my goals were for Havoc. I had no idea. Hmm maybe show him now and then. Maybe see if we can get a look or something at a specialty.
Hired a handler in late 2011 for 2 shows and then they went to their first big show in 1/2012 and I was so impressed he made it to the last 6 dogs. Of course he was the last one standing without an award hehe You could have knocked me over with a feather when he took the breed at the supported entry the next day with 20 specials. Then he took a group 3 at the 2nd biggest show in the US. Granted, much of dog showing is being in front of the right judge on the right day more than anything else.
I decided to keep showing him about once a month and we are holding at #16!! So if the 4 dogs below him didn’t win too much we may just may end the year in the top 20!!!!! We managed an AOM at a bigger specialty with over 35 specials and a Select (ha with me) at a SMALLER specialty with just 4 male specials and 3 females.
