| Santa's Helper
The best thing about Pet Store Santas...the socialization opportunity  Big person, big suit, big beard, chaos....all with a 17 week old puppy. My oh my was it chaos. The printer wasn't working. While we waited, we watched one of Santa's real kids put her hand into a Chi's mouth and get bit. Didn't break the skin. Owner didn't see. Parents didn't see. Then child went to do it again. So we "gave her" Envy to play with. Sat with Santa, got some great pics. Shopped, came back for picks, Oops Santa deleted all the pics. Sat again with Santa and waited while a 13 week old mixed breed (pit/husky) alternated between hiding behind his owners and trying to eat Envy and the owners were so excited he wanted to "play" (eekgads...he just needed more proper socialization). Second round of shots didn't turn out as well, but Envy got to see Santa twice and we donated to rescue so it was a win win.

 | That's exactly the reason we took Richter to see Santa. I'll have to see if I can scan in our photo. Doberman Rescue MN sponsored it that day and we got a share of the proceeds.
