While I was brushing Ramsey's teeth a few minutes ago, I saw this lump-looking thing at the back of his mouth.



You can see the small lump at the back of his mouth... It's white-light yellowish color... I haven't seen this before from the last time I brushed his teeth which would be last Saturday... He eats a high quality diet (ZuPreem Premium Ferret Diet) and I brush his teeth every week. I give him one treat once a week (Usually N-Bone but once in a while Bandits).

This doesn't look healthy to me at all. :/ If I could get a bit of information on what you guys think about this would help a bit. I plan on taking him to the vet if you guys think it's something to be checked out.

My personal opinion here is that any lump/growth in the mouth should be checked by a vet.

I tend to agree with VZ. Could be nothing more than an ulcer, but it never hurts to have it checked out. I've not seen a lump like that on any of my fuzzes.

Yes, please get it checked out by a vet.

I'm amazed how you got this shot though.. and I never knew they had so much teeth (sharp ones too!)

Their primary diet is meat so they need those little vicious teeth! haha. My boy is very well-mannered and only play bites just like how a dog would so it doesn't hurt.

I schedule an appointment this week... I hope it's nothing serious.
