| Congratulations!!!! She's so adorable!
I understand your hesitations about staying with the breeder. I'm always a little nervous to stay with someone I don't know extremely well, too. I'm sure it will be fine once you get comfortable though! Have fun!

| Thanks again, everyone! I am so excited for this puppy. Quote:

We had one client who bred gorgeous Aussies (which could be totally different then your breeder, but it just made me think of her). Anyway, I've rambled (again), congrats. | Haha, yeah, I guess the GTA is pretty big and my description wasn't very helpful! I think she lives near Milton - she has a pet food store there. She hasn't been breeding long. This is her third litter only. But she seems well known (in a good way) among Aussie people! Quote:

Maybe in the New Year sometime? Between puppy, work and driving lessons I'll have a lot going on, but I'll definitely find/make time to meet you! Quote:

Anyways good luck with the new addition, you sure have an assortment...lol! | An assortment is what happens when different people in the house have different taste in dogs haha. But really, Dance and Aussie puppy were the only dogs sought out. And I don't think she and the Aussie will be overly different. I'm expecting more energy, quicker thinking/learning, friendlier with strangers (which is easy since Dance hates strangers) and probably a little barky, but otherwise I don't think they'll be much different. The Dobermans just happened by accident sort of (the good kind of accident, though!). They're not my usual type, but that's what happens when you become good friends with a breeder haha. You end up letting her convince you it's a good idea and take a puppy home - twice! Or maybe that's just us... Quote:

I'm not too worried about the trip to Toronto. It should be ok. I'll probably read on the plane and will be there before I know it. Once I get there though things might be a little more stressful until I find the breeder at the airport, and then the whole sleeping over at her house for two nights is what has me more nervous than anything, but she's super nice so I am sure it will be fine. I'm a little worried about the flight back home though. Never taken a pup on a plane before and it's a pretty long flight (longer to come home than to go there). Hopefully she'll be ok! Good thing she's used to being crated, but a bag on the airplane will still be weird for her I'm sure.
And yeah, I hope so too LOL. I'm trying to learn! I don't tend to take all of the dogs on the bus ever though. Just one at a time. I'll take everyone on the train sometimes (cause it's more roomy) on off hours, but never the bus. The driver probably wouldn't even let me on with a pack of dogs.
ETA: Here's a new picture that her breeder took of her at puppy class last night!

| I know Milton Not too far from me. Wouldn't be her though if she hasn't been breeding long, as I've been home with my kids for about 4 years now. Good to see new AND reputable Aussie breeders! Good luck with your trip, should you end up needing anything while in the Toronto area shoot me a PM. |
