| Sebastian pulled a Lassie!!! No RFR he did not find Timmy in the well but he found my old girl Ginger in the pool.
Okay I don't know what to say but Sebastian pulled a Lassie!! No Timmy wasn't in the well but Ginger was in the pool.
I have my yard divided in half. One half is the pool area with the grass and the other is a patio, dog area etc. Both are very large. Each has a slider door that goes out to it, the patio dog area side has the dog door. This morning I got up and was very sleepy. I let Ginger and Annie out the pool side, when I am home I do this from time to time. Eli, Pip and Seb were out on the other side. Phil let the boys in and I was in the kitchen making coffee. Sebastian did the Lassie bark at that slider door, he was barking, running to me barking again at the door. He has never done this, I thought he had to go out again, maybe didn't feel well or something. I opened it, Annie ran in and before I could close it he put half his body through the door and barked in urgency at me again. I looked out (had the outdoor lights on) and saw Ginger in the pool on the lagoon side hanging with her front paws but at 15 her back end is too weak to climb out. I flew out there, hauled her out, tears in my eyes thanking Sebastian at the same time.
Ginger is fine, I would have noticed but not for about 5-10 more minutes. The other dogs did nothing. The yard is divided so this sort of thing doesn't happen when we go to work. Gin will not be going out that side anymore unless I'm actually out with her.
I can't believe it he sounded just like Lassie too. I told you guys he was special! |

| Dogs sometimes are so amazing it takes my breath away.
My old Mastif fell down a steep incline which ended in a cliff of about 50 metres in height. As she scrambled to get her footing our Boxer girlie suddenly set off and ran down the incline till she was just in front of my girl metres from the edge of the cliff and blocked her way. Both skidded for a while, but stopped just before they both tipped over the cliff.
The amazing thing is, they both hated each other with a vengeance, yet she saved her.
Our other dogs (2 Terriers) didnt do much save to watch the scene with interest.
So glad Ginger is okay, it could have been so different an outcome if it hadnt been for
Super Sebastian. |

| My heart is swelling with the love for that boy.
You tell Ginger that none of us, not even the natural beauties, look good in a bikini, after a certain age, and she needs to quit with the showing off and trying to be a pool bunny

| Awww that is a great story!! Buddy is a very wonderful dog. He wuvs his sister. My carpool person was telling me that her chihuahua went nuts in the house, running from inside to out through the dog door, she finally followed him out he ran to the back of the acre barking, she followed, their boxer was on his side struggling, he had a major seizure and eventually had to be put down.
