| My goodness what a handsome pup. Love black tris. I think if we get one more Collie on DT we'll just about qualify for a sub-forum or something.

| I wish I could find a collie group to chat with. Do you know of any? I only know of three collies besides Seb, yours, Sams, Astra and that is all I know of. Quote:

| I go there. colliesonline. LOL I hope you can meet my breeder. She is very nice. Hey I was looking around the other day and I found Riverrun collies. Gorgeous dogs and they title many on boths ends. Have you seen any of their dogs? I know they had a national winner last year according to their site.
I'm a little worried that Seb is too close in the back, his hocks almost touch and that is not good. Gayle, breeder, said wait, his hocks are really long now and we have to wait. Did you know his dad is a champion now? !! Big win at the last speciality. CH. CHELSEA CASANOVA COWBOY
It was the last show she could attend until the nationals. His auntie got her championship that day too. I think two of his full blooded sisters from the litter before his are close, they are blk tri's. I hope his back end gets better. lol. If not I'm in for a show female next time. I really, really, really, really like the personality of Sebastian. He and I just gel. He is mischievous, playful, stubborn, he is loving (very), sweet (very), funny (I swear his has a sense of humor), tolerant and biddable but with that stubborn streak. It is interesting to me how different he is than my aussies, I thought he would be almost like them but no he is not. He does want to please but also has some grit, I LOVE it, I LOVE him. hee hee. Now maybe all collies aren't like him but if they are...I've finally found the breed for the last half of my life. Quote:

My mom is a fan of deep river and me personally I'd love a marnus baby or alerich both turn out some gorgeous dogs imo. Seb sounds like my kind of collie, Hannah is just a bit too dense and far to soft. My moms first tri smooth male buck was more like Seb and he was my favorite. (Can you tell I'm a smooth tri boy fan?)
Hopefully seb is just in a weird growth phase, collies are some of the guakiest I've ever seen as babies lol. Some grow out of it some do not.
I'll keep an eye out for your breeder, ill be on show staff so who knows I may be running errands for her or something.

| *Sigh* He is stunning! I love collies. I have wanted a rough collie since I was a little girl. First my parents said no, then my dog hating ex husband (one reason he's gone, didn't know he didnt actually like them until after we married) wouldn't allow me to get one. My now partner loves dogs, and I thought maybe I had a chance, but nope he doesn't like them either (Luckily he loves Dobes though, so at least that choice was an easy one for us to make).
One day I WILL get my collie lol. |
