I keep seeing an ad in the newspaper for a lost 7 month old Palomino filly has a narrow white marking on its face. I feel so sorry for this little baby horse being lost possible stolen. North side of Tulsa OK. The ad has been in the newspaper for about 3 weeks or so now I hope the little horse is OK.

Unfortunately many horses head to Mexican slaughter plants. Moreover, even if a horse carries a brand that is most often ignored down there, as brand inspectors as we know here really don’t exist in Mexico. Hopefully this isn’t the fate of the filly. However, it is the case for many unfortunate horses including stolen horses. Sadly she could have gotten across that border in a matter of hours.
