| Lol. I've got a couple vultures here myself.
I don't know why, but anything "cat" is sooo tantalizing to them. This goes for kitty poops too. Bleh!

| Oh, by "vultures", I meant my three youngest cats. They'll eat pretty much anything that doesn't eat them first.

| My two kitties are 8 and 10 years old and have been on raw since they got here. (At around 16 weeks and 1 year, respectively.)
I don't grind their food and very rarely feed ground meat. I'm eternally grateful (and cursed) that they're both extremely food oriented and consider most things edible until proven otherwise. Their most common meal is a chicken drumstick with a couple of hearts. Duck gizzards, whole quail, turkey or chicken backs, beef chunks, beef heart, duck feet, chicken liver, cornish hens, canned mackerel or sardines, eggs, and rabbit all make appearances on their menu. It's hard to tell, but (aside from the canned fish) I think the quail is probably their favorite. |

| I wish my cat would eat raw because it would be so easy since Coco is fed raw. Tiki acts like it is poison when presented with it. She doesn't really like people food either....only a little yogurt, tuna and sardines. She loves dry cat food and the cheapest, crappiest kinds are her favourite. I bought her a $30 bag once because I felt bad about not feeding her better food and she refused to eat at all for days and days. I'm now feeding her Iams (which I think is crap) mature cat hairball formula which she loves! For now I will stay with this because her absolute favourite is $3 no name grocery store garbage!

| Well, I have one cat who just LOVES the raw food. Unfortunately, it's not the cat I want to eat it. Trouble thinks it great. Of course he was already on a partially raw diet, because he is an outdoor cat, and hunts. Now, if I can just convince Boeing to eat it.

| I wish I could get my cat to eat raw. Tried every tip given to me and he just won't touch it. Hopefully I can get my future kitties on raw, especially the ones I get as kittens. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App | In my personal experience unless they're a garbage gut kitty it's nearly impossible to switch a cat over roughly a year! I give a ton of credit to those that can get it to happen!
Kittens easy...Harlow has had some raw off and on and is just about 6 months, I want to keep it up in case I switch but Hallie...she'd rather starve to death no matter what method, idea, or etc.. I try.
Thankfully Harlow is hitting that non eat whatever I find because I'm a kitten stage and still seems to want little table scrap tidbits so my hopes are high she'll be easy to switch to whatever food may become necessary ever

| Are you feeding raw with bones? Or raw grind? My cats were eating pre-made raw nuggets by Primal Pet Foods, but eventually they just stopped eating it altogether.
I tried raw chicken necks and wings, but they didn't seem to know what to do with it. Or perhaps they did, and just didn't want it.
Either way, it's been a challenge to say the least!

| I've got some of the Nature's Variety patties and nuggets. If I can't get him to eat some of that, I'll try something else. First, I need to get over the crud I caught over Christmas. Hard to do anything when you feel lousy.

| I switched mine who were about 10 and 14 months-ish (youngest they thought but possibly up to 4 months older-lovely first owners!)..anyway I switched mine by putting their kibble in a blender and then coating the meat with the kibble.

| Boeing is 9 years old. Do you think there's any hope of switching him? He's used to getting kibble and canned mixed, but refuses to touch the raw stuff. Maybe switch him entirely to canned first, and then try mixing in the raw?

He's turning 7 in April. You'd think a cat named Dahmer would like raw meat lol. |

Okay..... The frozen raw (NV Instinct) was a no go for Boeing (Trouble, on the other hand, loves the stuff). He's on a kibble that he seems to like, but his stools are still horrible (maybe even worse ). Has anyone tried the dehydrated or freeze-dried raw? From what I've seen of the freeze-dried stuff, you can mix it with water to make something resembling canned food. I'm thinking he might be a bit more receptive to that.

| I found a new air dried raw by realmeattreats.com
Stella and chewys makes raw patties and freeze dried and theirs honest kitchen freeze dried though km not sure
f its just dog food or cat too.
NV also has a raw boost powder you could sprinkle on the canned....
