| Sebastian goes to Yosemite... AND it snowed. LOL. His first snow. Hubby had a confr. in Yosemite. We took Bass alone to have some time with him, he has never been with us for longer than a few hours without the other dogs. It was awesome!! He even got to do a meet and greet at the conference. LOL. He did great and it was fun. Really cold, pictures are not great because Sebastian had to be leashed the whole time, national parks are strict about that but here you go a few...
Ooooo snow
Snow on my nose
Snow tastes good
Iz is happy!
Where we stayed, our view
Yosemite falls just a trickle
Checking out the Merced
Hiking down at the River...
Okay enough of climbing on these giant slippery boulders...
The fog covered the mountains, first time I couldn't see Yosmite but it was awesome nonetheless.

| Love the pics! OMG Sebastian is getting huge! How old is he now? What a handsome boy!! I bet he had such a fun time. How cool that he got to see snow too.
Those pictures are beautiful. I've never been to Yosemite in the winter - only summer. Such a pretty place. Glad you had such a nice trip!
p.s. that last picture is really cool how it's all white/grey tone and then the splash of color with green trees on the left.

| Gorgeous pictures. Sebastian looks like he really enjoyed himself - such a happy boy.
I wanna cuddle him every time I see new pics of him. He looks so soft and sweet. I bet he's a lot of fun.

| I've only been in the summer too, every year in fact since I was 4 yrs old. LOL. Never seen it in the snow.
Bass is 6 months now. He was so good on this trip. He stayed in the car like a champ, he was excellent at the hotel, he was just a really easy boy. I brought the soft crate and it worked out perfectly. I brought lots of toys so he was happy in the hotel room. He did bark at people in their winter gear but we worked through that. heh heh. He didn't realize they were, in fact, people. He also barked at a trash can that had been knocked over by a bear the night before. I guess it looked all wrong to him. He was okay once he sniffed it, I told him he should be embarrassed. He is in a suspicious phase so I'm really glad we had this time, it was so good for his socialization. Walking to a friends room for a dinner (without Bass) we saw a baby bear, yikes not good, where was mama, we hurried on our way. Apparently the bears are super active right now getting their bellies full before hibernation. I wish we could have stayed longer, I love Yosmite. Quote:

My mother in law lives fairly close to there - Sonora - we should get up there more too. Sebastion sounds so cute. What a good boy. I have not gotten used to calling him Bass yet - I remember when you first called him Seb! Or at least that is what I have in my mind. LOL. That cracks me up about the people in winter wear. What a great time for him and such a great experience. And scary about those baby bears!! Glad you didn't bump into mama!

| It was Seb haha, I think I like Bass better even though it's a nickname it sounds more name like. Phil and I wanted to buy a place in Sonora, still do to be close to the Sierras. Maybe if we sell our Big Bear Lake house. It was a very good experience for Bass. I like to my puppies on road trips, several in their first year. I have been lacking with Sebastian. Thanksgiving we take him up to Pacifica/San Francisco for the holiday to see my family. I think this time Eli will stay home. He has had many vacations with us and it is good for Sebastian to do things away from the others.
I have to take a handling class! Collie are a breed easy to show as a novice handler so we shall see. Looking forward to watching Gidget grow. Are you going to try to handle her yourself? Quote:
