| | Agility Addict | My adorable bunny (photodump!) This is my adorable little pretend dog, MurderFace, he is a Cashmere Mini Lop. I can't get over what an awesome little guy he is, so affectionate, better toilet trained than the Ragdoll cat we are looking after, not at all smelly ever and super duper adorable! Every time I look at him I just can't help going over and giving him chin scratches and cuddles. I never truly realized what great pets rabbits are until I had this guy as an indoor bunny, he is such a sweetheart and so easy to look after and so clean!
I still have some ear control, even though I am a lop! Just this one goes up when I hear exciting things
Hai DT!
This hoomin makes a good lookout
Aren't I handsome?
Check out my sweet mustache! (technically called a Butterfly marking apparently hehe)
I wonder if this is good to nibble...
Hmm much warmer up over here
BYE DT!!!!

| He's freaking adorable.
Love your name for him.
Do you know about this site? Disapproving Rabbits!
They are fantastic indoor pets, if you are a true bunny person, yes. Much, much different, though, than the great majority's perception/stereotype of them, huh?

Wow that's some serious disapproval LOL
I love his name too, it suits him so much! We named him when we were watching a cartoon called "Metalocalypse" and my friend was playing with him and said something along the lines of "Oh his face is so sweet, I would let him get away with murder" and at that very moment on the cartoon someone said the name "MurderFace" (which is one of the characters, who funnily enough has a great mustache like my boy )
Yeah I am so surprised more people aren't into keeping bunnies as house pets, though I suppose most people just don't know you can toilet train them! I was so surprised how quickly Murder was toilet trained, he even runs back to his cage to do his business and we only had one accident with him (he peed on me the night he came home, but he was just a little baby and probably feeling a bit scared!)

| Ya know, in the past I never had a great interest in having a bunny for a pet. But in the last few years, I've heard SO much about them (and ya gotta admit, bunnies stay cute...even grown ups are CUTE!). I've heard that they are very affectionate, and housetrainable, and actually "fun"...
Somebody dropped off a tame rabbit (just like they would do a kitty...jerks!), and he lived in our barn, ate alfapha with one of our horses....grazed in my yard, and made himself to home. I got Moj to leave him alone (had a hell of time tho, getting my Westie to do the same )....he lived out there for 2 years. Never could get my hands on him, but he didn't scamper off...just wouldn't get within 5 feet or so. I marveled again and again, how damned cute he was.

They are VERY trainable, if you keep in mind they have no desire to do anything that doesn't benefit their own furry little face

| Too adorable.. I would love to have one.. Sofia tried to adopt one of the wild bunnies who have invaded the neighborhood. He was happily munching the brocolli we purposely planted for him and his brothers when Sofia spied him and swooped him up. She brought him in the house and sat with him between her paws, giving him an entire bath.. We thought for sure he was a goner as he just sat there as still as death. Finally deciding that was enough we sent them both outside.. Lazarus perked up .. shook dobergoobers from his whiskers and hopped away. So bunnies make good pets huh? Maybe we should try it... |
