SNAKES: More Vision

Vision says cameras are evil! Pure evil!

Pbbbbbhhhtttt to you too.

I was actually trying to pose him nicely on this, but ended up getting him to stay still long enough for an under shot with the dramatic lighting.

That's more of what I wanted, thanks dude.

A size comparison for those who will say "he looks huge!" He is not. This is the "dwarf" part of "dwarf boa". He is much smaller than similarly aged BCIs despite being a healthy and voracious eater. He will top out at less than a third their adult size- good for me because I have no desire to handle a 8-12ft snake!

He does not! He thinks he's 20ft long, maybe more. He's actually quite cool and confident when he's not being pissy about a camera in his face or being misted. Really interesting and different to see- most of these little snake species in SA are defensive because everything eats them, but the niche these guys occupy is quite different from the rainforest.

EAKE! Where is my lawnmower?

He/She is pretty, though.

Better your property, than mine.

I know you mean well, but please think about your response for a moment. What if I joked about hitting your dog with a lawnmower? This is one of my beloved pets just the same as our dogs and I do not believe that would be considered acceptable.

If you do not like snakes, there is a big, all caps warning at the top that warns you what's in the topic. I am well aware that some people are afraid of these animals and thus I go out of my way to warn when I am posting them.
