Keeping cat quiet/calm after spay..?

Well, my baby girl Victoria is due to get spayed ASAP. I put it off for a few months because she was an orphan kitten and therefore I worried about her size, but I can't put it off any longer, no matter how nervous I am (it has been 9 and a half years since I had an animal in for a spay!).

My question is this: Victoria is an extremely active and energetic young kitty. She rejoices in climbing, climbing, climbing and jumping, jumping, jumping. How do we keep her calm after she is spayed? I've never dealt with a post-spay kitten before and have no idea!

Ms. Vikki is quite the handful...

If she is really determined to be active, a large dog crate works well - -big enough that you can put a litter box, bed and dishes in there. Kittens heal quickly, if that helps

I hope she heals quickly, the little brat!

I will have to see if I can borrow a large dog crate in case I need to put her in one - my dogs are both under 20 lbs so theirs are small!
