| | Alpha | Maybe if they posted articles like this at the pet stores and on the internet puppy sites, some people would think twice about buying those pups and supporting "businesses" like this. Many of the people though, either choose to live in denial or go under the presumption that they're "saving" that puppy.
If people didn't buy from petstores and internet puppy sites - where would these puppy mills sell their pups??? They sure as hell couldn't invite the public to come see the conditions in which they keep the dogs. | |

| Oprah should definitely do a follow-up episode... I want to know if the laws they were suggesting were approved or not. The first step is to make living conditions comfortable for the dogs in those puppy mills... then maybe afterwards they can make laws to stop it alltogether. Like a female only being able to have a litter once every three years or something... I don't know.
I just know that there definitely needs to be something done.
If you go to her website, you can sign a petition to get these laws passed to get a lot of these disgusting places under control.
